Welcome to the EXPRESS MAT SERIES, a series of time efficient workouts that will sculpt long, lean muscles! These workouts are designed to be mix and matched depending on your schedule. No straight reps here! You will perform unique combinations of various exercises with different rep patterns to keep things interesting. Each muscle group will be well and truly burned out.

THE WORKOUTS ARE:

Outer Thighs (23 mins): Each outer thigh exercise will be performed at different levels and with a pyramid rep pattern starting at 1 rep and going all the way up to 5 and then back down to 1.

Triceps & Back (22 mins): You start with a side and regular triceps push up series, move on to a back extensions series and finish with triceps dip variations.

Lower Belly (16 mins): Flatten your tummy and trim your obliques with some long lever, lower belly raise combinations and reverse crunch variations.

Abs (15 mins): You will see lots of unique side plank variations as well as some diamond crunches and tucks and challenging teaser variations.

Inner Thighs (25 mins): You will see all the most effective inner thigh exercises with elevation changes and pyramid rep patterns to increase the intensity.

Glute Bridge (13 mins): Burn out your glutes and back of legs with this intense, fast paced glute bridge segment. Lots of variations and pyramid rep patterns with no breaks for the entire 13 minutes!

About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. I have worked in the diet and fitness industry as an instructor and personal trainer for most of my career and have created close to 400 workout videos to bring my passion for exercise to you! My desire is to help you sculpt a strong, healthy body with a fusion of barre, Pilates, yoga as well as more traditional cardio + toning exercises. So what are you waiting for? What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it!
