Did this workout for the first time today. I sure felt it in my glutes - they worked hard. This workout definitely focuses on the glutes. For those who feel it didn't work their glutes enough, it might help to focus more on Tracie's instruction. When working specific muscles it's very helpful to purposely focus on those muscles with each move.  I really appreciate how good my glutes were worked and that it's a 30 minute workout. Very effective and efficient.

I'm always looking for workouts that encourage activation of the glutes, especially since I think they help me move in a way that helps my lower back. Although hesitant to order based on reviews, I went ahead because I liked the clip and trust Tracie Long. I'm glad I did because it helped me be mindful of targeting the right muscles. Both my glutes and hamstrings were a little sore the next day.

I agree with the other reviewer that my butt did not feel worked at all.What I did feel was awful knee pain the next day.I also did not connect with her as a Trainer-she seemed very emotionless.I never did any of The Firm workouts that she was in so I really didn't know anything about her before purchasing this.I have no desire now to purchase any other dvd's by her-I need to feel motivated by the Instructor

I had high hopes for "Figure 30: Butt", but was left sorely disappointed. I *really* felt the workout in the muscles around my hips, but even after trying the DVD three times, my butt didn't feel anything at all. I know it's not just me, because reviewers on other sites have said the same thing.

Somewhat bizarrely, Tracie ends the workout by saying, "Hope your butt feels better." I always wanted to reply, "Tracie, my butt doesn't feel anything at all!"
