Lower Body Blast is a 59 minute workout that has a great mix of both classic and new exercises, effectively sequenced, to keep the fat burning and muscles responding. There is simply no lower body muscle that is overlooked or underworked in this challenging, lower body weight training program.

This unique program starts off with a warm up and brief, energetic, cardio workout to get your body in fat burning mode. Then you’ll continue on with intense lower body exercises, sprinkled with fat burning cardio blasts throughout, to really shape and define your thighs and glutes! We’ve even included a bonus toning bar segment that can be used with our Turbo Tower, or even a chair, for highly effective results.

Enjoy doing this workout one or two times per week on non-consecutive days.

As a special bonus feature, we’ve also included five premixes to make this workout more time efficient and versatile. Equipment needed for this workout is a High Step (or step stool), weighted barbell, dumbbells, a resistance band and sliding disc (or paper plate).

This is a lower body workout with little cardio bursts sprinkled in - my kind of workout.  I feel like I get a really good lower body full workout with this video.  I usually do the premix that has standing, leg conditioning drills and floor work to get every muscle.  There are premixes for everyone depending on what you like and how much time you have.  Typical Cathe moves that burn your muscles.  I usually use a bit higher weight for a little more "oomph".

I love this DVD, it is one of my go-to workouts. I usually do the premix that allows you to skip the cardio blasts so that I can just focus on the weight work. I think my favorite part is the lunges with one leg on the step - ouch!! Actually, there are lots of lunges in this one, and my legs are quivering by the end. The floor work is great too.

I like the music and I find Cathe both funny and encouraging. She has great pointers like always.

“Lower Body Blast” showcases Cathe at her best. This well-designed workout, which alternates strength moves and “fat burning blasts”, will keep you challenged without going over the top. I particularly enjoyed the music, bright set, and use of gliding disks.  The generous premixes make this one a keeper!
