Great workout May 30, 2016

Love this workout!!! I was not sure at first and has been sitting on my shelf waiting for me.  Love it.  You have no time to get bored.  The workout goes by really fast and you have had a great workout without hardly noticing the time flying by. Really great.

Use gliding disks with this workout April 7, 2015

I use my gliding disks with this workout-doing my own thing sliding around the room while they are on their cardio machines. I did each of the workouts and enjoyed them both - but I wondered if I would pull out the DVD again in the next few months to do them again.  Time will tell.  I used my gliding disks and my Fitstix.  It occurred to me that I could wear light hand weights to enhance the level of effort during the cardio sections.  This conflicted feeling means that I think that the workouts are well done and worth doing-if you click with them.  

Overall, I like these workouts and thought some of the strength moves were fun, especially the hot potato squat and the dumbbell throw.  The strength segments seemed short since they were only 1 minute, so you always seemed to be moving, either on or off the cardio machines.  For those who like to longer sets, this pattern might not be very good. I was engaged throughout the workouts, but I wonder if this might be a short-term like.

Great with rebounder! August 16, 2014

I love doing this with my rebounder for the cardio. It goes quickly, even when doing the combined workout premix. I appreciate the waistline section which is standing core plus some plank moves. The weight sections feature compound moves. The music motivated me to keep the pace, but was nothing special. Another DVD that can combine your choice of cardio (I use the rebounder) with strength (bands in this case) is Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp with Ariane Hundt. I think both of these would really help a person who wanted to control their weight and stay strong.

Home Gym Intervals is a workout that alternates cardio and weights.  What makes this DVD workout a little different is that the cardio segments utilize cardio equipment such as a treadmill, spin bike or elliptical machine.  

Really any cardio equipment that you have will work.  Kelly is using the treadmill as her cardio machine.  One cast member is on the Elliptical, one  a spin bike and another a Treadmill.

Just like the previous 30-Minute To Fitness workouts, Home Gym Intervals include two 30 minute workouts and several premixes.

The workout I did was the Combined Workouts Premix.  The only thing to note is that when the workout cuts over to workout two it skips the first weight exercise which was the biceps curl with squats.  Oh, one more thing is that the Combine Workout Premix also includes the Bonus Waistline segment.

I really like the workout.  Kelly sense of humor was in full force and the workout flew bye.  I used my treadmill as my cardio machine.
