I love it!  I always feel well worked out but not beaten to death when I finish. Back Up is excellent for the upper body and it is my go to.  Tracie always includes some balance and sport drills (so to speak) as well. A friend from The Firm days. Tracie is an excellent instructor.

Tracie Long always puts her own stamp on her workouts; they are creative with fresh moves and a functional fitness feel, incorporating balance, agility, core strength and rotational movements.

“Back Up” is a total body cardio/weights workout with an emphasis, as its name implies, on the back and shoulder muscles. It includes conventional strength training, creative sports drills with a med ball, functional training with light weights for smaller muscle groups, and a core segment. In true Tracie style, these moves flow together seamlessly.

As another reviewer mentioned, the functional training segment is designed for injury prevention (and I understand that Tracie herself has shoulder issues) so I’m puzzled by her inclusion of upright rows, which are contraindicated for anyone with sensitive shoulders.

Every time I pull out this one, I enjoy it more. There is a lot of variety, and I particularly love the "sports section" with the med ball. It gets your heartrate up and works your entire body. While I don't dig the opening section as much (cardio), it's growing on me. The strength work is solid, effective, and the section using light weights is great for injury prevention. Tracey is professional, cues decently, and encouraging.
