Tracey Mallett is an International Fitness Expert and Master Pilates Instructor, she has taught all over the world and currently owns her own fitness and Pilates studio in Los Angeles ATP Specific Training. Tracey is the author of two books and creator of the award winning DVD's the 6 Minute QuickBlast Method. She has personally been practicing Pilates for over 20 years and now focuses on providing continuing education for Pilates Professionals. She is the creator of the video and class The Booty Barre which is a combination of Pilates, Dance and Calisthenics found in many studios across the US. Tracey is also a proud busy Mom of two children.

This video kicks "booty"-it truly is meant for the more advanced barre exerciser.  Her cuing as always is spot on and the production quality is excellent.  The moves are advanced but they can be modified.  As usual, Tracey's upbeat personality keeps you motivated through out

Total New Body is Tracey Mallett's first Booty Barre DVD.  It is also the first one I tried, and boy did I find it hard!  I recommend starting out with Beginners and Beyond, then trying Ballet, and when you can do those, try this one and Abs and Arms.

The workout is really good and works the whole body very well, even the upper body, that is not always so thoroughly worked in barre workouts.  

The barre section was too much for me when I first tried it, and I still find it very challenging.

I didn't do the core segment very often. It's pilates inspired and includes some plank work.  

After such a long workout, the flexibility section felt short.

The music is all right. Tracey's instruction is good and she's very encouraging throughout.

I recommend this workout to intermediate-advanced exercisers who are familiar with the genre, know their limits and are able to modify accordingly.  The modifier doesn't always modify all that much.

Tracey has added some spice to the Barre workout her own good energy. I liked the kicks for adding a cardio element still with classic barre moves. It is pure joy to work out with Tracey with her bubbly personality.
