Welcome to the Slider Series. A set of 4 workouts that are low impact and joint friendly, but still bring maximum results. The sliding discs help you engage all the smaller, supporting muscle groups so that you get a super effective workout in minimum time. There's a mix of cardio and toning to work every muscle in your body!
THE WORKOUTS ARE:
Squats and More (35 mins): This is a tough lower body workout that will take you through squats from all angles as well as lunges, knee pulls, a tough glute bridge segment. There a graceful barre feel to this workout with lots of inner thigh engagement as well as balance challenge exercises.
Slide and Box (30 mins): this workout will take you through some fun boxing combinations whilst working your lower body with the sliders. Using light hand weights to increase the intensity you will see all your favorite punches such as upper cuts, cross punches and hooks. There are also some fun burpee squat combinations to really get the heart rate up and you will finish with an intense abs segment.
Slider and Loop (36 mins): You will work your way through various exercises first using both the sliding discs and a loop, then the same exercise with just the loop and lastly with just the sliders. There are lots of up and down moves that will engage your entire body. This is a challenging workout that gets all your supporting muscles firing!
Slider Intervals (28 mins): Get ready to sweat with this fast paced cardio sculpting slider workout. You will use intervals of 60 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest for 20 non-stop rounds. There are lots of combination exercises to keep things interesting and the fast pace will keep your heart rate high and your muscles burning!

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it!
