GET ALL 4 SLIDE AND BURN SERIES WORKOUTS
Welcome to the Slider and Burn Series. A set of 4 workouts that are low impact and joint friendly, but still bring maximum results. These workouts include various pieces of equipment to help you engage all the major and minor muscle groups in the body.
THE WORKOUTS ARE:
Intervals (36 mins): This is a tough total body workout with 30 intervals of 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest. You will perform high energy cardio sculpt exercises on and off the gliders. Some of the exercises will be standing and others will be in a plank position. There are tough core exercises and lots of up and down moves to get the heart rate high and the muscles burning.
With Ball (39 mins): You will warm up your body with some flowing aerobic exercises, then incorporate some dynamic toning exercises for the lower body such as mountain climbers, lunges and skaters. You will then use the stability ball to particularly target the inner thighs and glutes with glute bridges on the ball, inner thigh squeezes from all angles and a nice stretch to finish.
Cardio Sculpt (55 mins): You will start with some easy to follow cardio moves to warm up the entire body, then use the hand weights with compound moves for the entire body. There are balance challenge moves, singles side moves and total body moves. All of them are low impact, but high intensity and will leave you dripping with sweat. You will then move to the mat with a resistance loop to work the lower body and abs.
With weights (48 mins): You will start with a non-weighted cardio set, then move to compound exercises using your upper body with the weights and your lower body with the sliders, you will then move to the mat for some more upper body and core moves and a tough triceps series to finish.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it!
