I bought this DVD years ago when I was running and training for a marathon. It gave me among other DVD's a different type of workout when I wasn't running. Over the last 15 years, I have slowed running down considerably but this workout still packs a punch. Sure the outfits are dated but Jen is great at pushing you and mixing cardio and weights in very well. I love most of the exercises and only tweak one because of a shoulder issue. I haven't found many that mix cardio and strength that I like so much. I always sweat, I always feel good afterwards and different weights can make it easier or harder.

This workout is comprised of five SEGMENTS. Each segment is comprised of three EXERCISES. The 1st exercise in the segment is always a high-impact cardio move & the 2nd and 3rd are compound strength movements that utilize a dumbbell. The point of doing compound strength moves at a fast pace is to get your heart rate up, so I consider this workout more of an interval workout than anything else because it varies your heart rate. I went light with the dumbbell, but you could vary the weight depending on the move. You do the 3 exercises for 1 minute and then for 45 seconds and then for 30 seconds  That comprises a segment and then you move onto the next segment.  

I like this workout less than her other workout - I didn't get into the moves as much. But, I think it's a well-constructed workout that made me sweat a LOT
