The Ballet Physique, Colorado’s first independently-owned barre fitness studio, is home to a transformational exercise method that fuses precision-based strength training with elements of classical ballet to produce lean, strong and shapely muscles. Best of all, the program uses your very own body weight as resistance, meaning that each exercise can be tailored to your specific level.

Signature Sculpt brings the Ballet Physique studio experience into your home (no barre required) with a comprehensive 60-minute workout that will tone every inch of your body using light weights, intense yet non-impact exercise sequences, and ballet-inspired techniques. Our innovative choreography and energizing pace are the perfect formula to melt fat, blast calories, flatten your abs, firm your thighs, and sculpt a trim, perky derriere!

Commit to this workout on a regular basis and you’ll notice a difference in the way your clothes fit in just one month! You may not every have to look good in a tutu, but we guarantee that you’ll look great in a pair of jeans.

Solid barre workout July 25, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from GA United States
This is vey similar to workouts like Pure Barre and Physique 57, probably being in between those two in intensity. Very similar format with upper body fairly light weights, lower body short pulses, then lots of focused ab work. Kristen is a calm, pleasant instructor and this routine flows well. It wouldn't be the best choice for someone who has no experience with barre style exercises, as I think there are other DVD instructors who are a little better at setting up the exercises and giving form tips.

Very Thorough and Long! July 19, 2014
Reviewer: Ruth Rousseau from Ottersberg, Niedersachsen Germany
Signature Sculpt is a very thorough workout that hits every muscle hard, especially the lower body, but most barre workouts that I've tried spend more time on the lower body than the upper body.
The previous reviewer mentioned the hip flexor work, and I agree with her. My hip flexors hurt after doing this workout, and I found it hard to finish the sequence.   The seat and thigh work is really tough and gave me doms for days afterwards.  The ab work was tough but doable.

The pace of this workout is slower than other barre workouts I own, and I found it to be harder for that reason.

Kristen is pleasant and motivating throughout. The music is fairly good too.

I recommend this workout to intermediate-advanced exercisers.

Not that great October 9, 2013
Reviewer: Livingroom Athlete from New Zealand
I seem to be in the minority, but I was really disappointed with Signature Sculpt. The hip flexion work was relentless and really kills my hip flexors (as in, they ached for days afterwards), and Kristen and the background exercisers are rather fake-plastered-on-smiles Stepford Wives. Kristen's cueing was often a little behind, and she relies on you knowing your ballet terms (and therefore your body positioning) without really giving enough positional cues herself.
