Walking Strong is an upbeat, energetic treadmill workout designed to keep you motivated whatever shape you're in. This workout is broken down into eleven five to six minute blocks. We'll warm you up, work you out and cool you down.

Be prepared for some challenging intervals; we'll climb some hills, build up your endurance, do upper body weight training and lower body conditioning.

Conditioned athletes, follow Tracey. Beginners and those in-between, watch Bobbi for a modified version of the routine. Don't have a treadmill? Jill will show you how to walk strong without one!

I did this workout for the first time and don't have a treadmill. The moves on the treadmill looked like fun. I follow the modifier. The modifier just marched in place for the most part. I think, Tracey could have done a better job showing modification without a treadmill. My HR didn't go up once, I had to pump up the intensity. Tracey and her sister Bobbi talked the entire time. I much prefer Jessica Smith's walking workouts.

I think this great for those in a rut with a treadmill. This will motivate you to get a good workout in. Tracey is a good clear instructor.

This is a challenging treadmill workout, without the impact of having to run. She has an easy onscreen manner with her supporting exercisers and is good without being impossible to complete. She shows that just because it is walking doesn't mean it has to be basic or boring.

This is a terrific workout - lots of challenging moves and yet you can go at your own pace to make it easier or more difficult as you get stronger. Highly recommend!!

This ain't your momma's treadmill workout!! This is one tough workout. I thought "how hard can it be"...boy was I wrong! There are 3 levels shown the whole time, on the floor with no treadmill, one with moderate incline and one at higher incline. It is an effort to do the moderate version and I find myself taking it down a notch or two off that level so I can breathe. She uses light weights in various intervals and I am only using 1 pounders and sometimes have to set them down. I feel like a wimp-but it is satisfying when you finish-you really feel like you have done something. Alot of room to grow on this one. A great investment and a nice change from walking on the treadmill wishing the time away while watching tv and not really pushing yourself. Have a towel--you'll be sweating! It does last right at an hour, but the intervals are set up so you could pick and choose and make it shorter if you were pressed for time. No running either, just walking, either on an incline or flat-various speeds and a fair amount of lunges while the treadmill rolls.
