Tone & Tighten utilizes hand weights (or soup cans!), resistance band exercises, and floor work to target the entire body. After each muscle group is worked, through high repetition using a small range of motion, it is alternately stretched to elongate the muscles.

T&T creates muscles that are toned and lengthened, not big and bulky. After just a few weeks your legs will look leaner, your butt will look firmer, your abs will become stronger, and your shoulders, arms and chest will become defined. I was very disappointed with this exercise video.  While Michelle had a great upbeat personality, she took far to much time in explaining things to the detriment of getting a good workout.  The upper body moves were good, but I almost fell asleep on the floorwork moves.

Lets call this workout Strengthen & Stretch! A unique blend of concentrated deep muscle strengthening/toning moves and includes a deep, penetrating, innovative stretching sequence that follows each section of the body that's getting worked. With Tone & Tighten each area of the body is worked efficiently & then given the opportunity to delight in some restorative stretching that leaves you ready and feeling prepared for the next set!  Michelle & her workout buddies make this look so simple & easy... it is not! The hour flies by! I used 2 resistance bands (one I tied into a loop for the lower body workout portion) and a set of hand weights. I didn't need a 'strap' I just choked up on the 2nd resistance band and that worked great.  Love this workout & if you want to look great and feel great you can't go wrong with Tone & Tighten! Michelle has a Burlesque workout that is a great body shaping workout as well! Love them both!

The title of this DVD should be Tone and Stretch or Tighten and Stretch, because fully half of the DVD is stretching. Michelle works a muscle and then thoroughly stretches it, throughout the workout (sometimes the stretching segments are longer than the exercises). I am keeping it though because it has a place in my rotation, since I have never been a fan of stretch-only DVDs, and I can always use some good stretching. Michelle has a dazzling smile and always gives excellent tips. I did feel good after this workout.
