I like this for when I want a thorough workout but not an extremely tough one. This is definitely an effective total body workout. As a matter of fact this was my starter dvd with Bob. I like this for when I'm not up to his full fledge ones. But this is not for beginners. IMHO it is a solid intermediate.

I always enjoy Bob he is great with being clear and giving good instruction and this is no different. I think it is more challenging for the beginner and they might do better doing something else. I got a solid burn from this one and I enjoy the way my muscles feel after his rotation of moves.

This is billed as a beginner's workout, but I would not recommend to someone just starting out or coming back after an extended break from regular exercise.  The moves are basic and well-demonstrated, but it's a tough routine. Not as tough as the others in the "mytrainerbob.com" series, but not for a beginner.  Ease into this with another Biggest Loser title (Last Chance Workout is easy to modfy), KCM's Start Here, or one of Ellen Barrett's workouts.
