This intense upper body strength workout will focus on exhausting your back, biceps and shoulder muscle groups. You'll completely work each muscle group before moving on go the next. Most exercises will consist of three heavy sets with a goal of 12 or less reps per set. After the third set you'll 'hit it' with an intense finisher set to really fire up those muscles! You'll be using heavy weights in this workout and should be going to failure on at least some of the sets in each muscle group. Intensity matters so always make sure that you are choosing a weight that challenges you!

In this premix weve changed the order of the exercises and moved shoulders from the middle to the end of the routine. Exercise order is Back,Bis and shoulders for this mix.

Premix #2: Timesaver #1 No Shoulders
In this time saver workout you will only do back and bis.

Premix #3: Timesaver #2 No Finishers
Finishers are eliminated in this timesaver premix, but all of the other weight sets are still included.

Premix #4: Timesaver #3 1 Set Only- No Finishers
This timesaver premix features only 1 set of every exercise and no finishers.

Premix #5: Timesaver #4 1 Set Only + Finishers
This timesaver premix features only 1 set of every exercise and also includes finishers

Premix #6: Timesaver #5 2 Sets Only- No Finishers
This timesaver premix features only 2 sets of every exercise and no finishers.

Premix #7: Timesaver #6 2 Sets Only + Finishers
This timesaver premix features only 2 sets of every exercise and also includes finishers

Premix #8: Entire Routine + Abs #1

ok, so this DVD  WILL GET YOU RIPPED, Cathe goes heavy and the variety/"finishers" will definately get you results, it's a tough workout!  

But, Cathe does tend to talk...a lot!  and...the music is terrible!  Also, we are encouraged to go heavy ( I have to ignore my ego, I can't lift anywhere near what she lifts!) yet, her pace is fast....and she counts every rep, and to fail between 10-12 reps my dumbbells are HEAVY, there's no way I can keep up, so her counting is distracting! (plus she constantly says "don't follow my pace"

Anyway, just a few annoying things, moan over!  This DVD is staying in my favourites, just for the simple fact that it's old school, no messing about, no frills, get the job done, weight lifting!

I like this workout better than any of the xtrain series - it flows better, the music doesn't seem as loud and I love seeing Al - his grimacing motivates me! The exercises are performed at a quick pace while still allowing you to go heavy.  Excellent premixes for when you're short on time or want to mix it up a bit.
