This a truly a comprehensive Ballet Barre total workout! Each of the segments is a workout in itself! The warm-up is tough and a workout as well! Each segment is focused on a different part and it worked thoroughly. The set is nice and bright and the music is driving techno beats to keep you on pace. Tracey is really a great instructor. This is a wonderful addition to The Booty Barre line of workouts and while they are all barre style routines-this one has a more Ballet feel to it. It is a high Intermediate to Advanced level in my opinion. Well Done Tracey!

This is my favorite Booty Barre workout. I think Tracey really nailed it this time with a nice warm-up, short chapters that still flow very well into each other, and a huge variety of exercises.  She doesn't rep you to death but you get a good burn going.
I agree that this isn't a beginner's workout, so if you haven't done barre before, I'd recommend trying Beginners and Beyond first and then trying BB Ballet.
Tracey cues very well and offers frequent form pointers. Background exerciser Erika offers very doable modifications to many exercises.
I'm glad I purchased this DVD!

I adore Tracey Mallett.  If you love dance, ballet, Pilates, yoga, and/or barre fitness, she is the instructor for you!  I would agree that this is an intermediate workout and does NOT have a tutorial.  However, the warm-up can act as a tutorial as she goes over basic ballet moves.  Like the title, this DVD has an excellent Ballet vibe added to the Booty Barre method.  I like how she incorporated the arm workout into the leg workout (workout 1), made it less intense even though it was still challenging.  Then she follows up with fluidity movements in order to lengthen and stretch your legs.  Followed by a killer thigh workout!  She ends with her usual abs and stretch.  If you are a beginner, I would stick with her Beginners and Beyond DVD and then try this one!  As always, Tracey is great with cueing and encouraging.

I love this Booty Barre. It is a 90 minute full body workout. You can do the whole workout or section by section if you just want to work the core, lower body, upper body. Even if you are pushed for time you can fit some of these sections in. I would say this is intermediate to advanced. It flows really well, great direction by Tracey, as always. There are barre moves in this DVD I have never seen anywhere else before. Really kept my attention and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Tracey's upbeat personality and enthusiasm shine through as always.
