5 of 5 Exploring the German countryside and forests! May 9, 2014

A couple of my first purchases were the German Hike and Run dvds, and I like them both for different reasons.  This one has some beautiful scenery that is also along the river gorge, but you'll be underneath big gray, rocky boulders while seeing waterfalls streaming beside you, and water rushing past down below.  You never see any of the city until the cooldown, since much of the time is spent in forests, parks or green fields.  If I had to choose a favorite, I'd have to go with the Run dvd with all of the city scenes and landmarks that you don't visit in the Hike workout.  Still the camera work and music are good, and I enjoy having each dvd to mix it up.  Sometimes I use just the basic workout, and run a steady pace just to keep with the relaxation amongst the natural surroundings.  Music has a good beat so you can get into a good rhythm (walking or running) and there are some pretty vocals in the cooldown.

What's it like to hike in the German Forest - watch this DVD and have a glorious time! The scenery is spectacular and you'll get a great workout without even thinking about it!
