5 of 5 Best instructor July 23, 2014

I love Lauren she is so good at giving form pointers and teaching Kettlebells. I love that this one never gets easy because you can just keep increasing the weight. You will love that your cardio and strength gets challenged in this one. A must for anyone who wants to do the Kettlebells.

5 of 5 Cardio emphasis and solid instruction July 11, 2014

Lauren does a good job of mixing cardio moves with weights. This was my introduction to KB and she remains the best out there, along with Anthony from AOS. There are good premixes on this disc in addition to a great workout.

5 of 5 Great into to traditional kettlebell training March 13, 2011
Reviewer: Nancy from Canada
If you are looking to incorporate kettlebells into your workouts, this DVD is an excellent place to start.   Lauren includes a section on demonstrating proper form for all the exercises you will use in the workout.  Her form is great and so is the instruction.  I find even in the workouts, she is giving great form pointers as well.

The two workouts (a 12 minute and a 40 minute including a 6 minute joint mobility warm up) are amazing and I can't say enough good things about them.

I was using some other kettlebell workouts but they don't compare to this one and I'm glad to have found Lauren Brooks.

I like the instructor and the format of the DVD - both workouts (the mini blast and the longer one) are good and the exercises are controlled enough where you can go heavy on the bell.  The only thing I don't like is the breaks are too long - a full minute, when 30 seconds or even 45 seconds would have been much better.  So, you can either skip to the next segment (shortening the workout) or do your own fillers (I alternate crunches and jumping jacks).

5 of 5 Excellent DVD August 26, 2010
Reviewer: Ann from Florida
Great workout. Lauren knows her stuff and it shows in her great instruction. Her personality is wonderful - encouraging but not over the top. I am fairly new to kettlebells and bought several DVDs at once - this is the best one of the bunch. I plan to get her volume 2 as well. I am also in my 50s and love that the background exerciser, also in her 50s, has an incredible and inspiring fit body. Lauren of course does too. Highly recommend this!

5 of 5 Kettlebell Perfection November 1, 2009
Reviewer: Angela from United States
When I'm working with my KB's I'll do this one once or twice a week.   I always think I'll tack on a short cardio workout after I finish it, but by the end of that short 40 min. I'm done.  As someone else said, tough but doable tough!  I feel perfectly worked after Lauren's workout.  I can't wait for more!

5 of 5 Fantastic, detailed kettlebell workout! July 23, 2009
Reviewer: Nita from Birmingham, AL
I began using kettlebells in January-09.  Thank God I discovered Lauren Brooks; she is 100 times better than DVDs I already owned (Kettleworx, which I returned, and Gin Miller, which I gave away). Her instructions are clear, her form (and her partner's) is excellent, and the DVD is a great production overall. I really appreciated the detailed guidelines (proper weight selection, etc.) and instructions she provided (for 15 exercises) prior to completing any of the workouts. You can tell she knows what she is doing and her personality is great. Since using this video, I've tried several others and increased my kettlebell sizes.  I still keep Lauren in my rotation at least once a week.  I hope she completes another video soon.

I relly like Lauren and the instruction is clear, the workouts go by quickly.  I really appreciate her having a woman in her 50's working out with her.  Very inspiring to me, a 48 year old woman.

5 of 5 Excellent dvd November 25, 2008
Reviewer: sailor from United Kingdom
This was my first kettlbell workout. Good instructions & gets a lot done in a short time. There are two workouts : 12minutes & 40minutes one. my first impression was; that's it? how can one have a proper workout in less than an hour? Well you can with this one. It is hard but doable. I am hooked on kettlebells & Lauren Brooks. When can we expect the new DVD?

4 of 5 Good intro kettlebell workout November 19, 2008
Reviewer: bonheurgirl from Atlantic Beach, FL
This is a good intro to kettlebell workouts.  It takes some getting used to but once you have the moves down it is actually a lot of fun.  It has great music and there is a countdown timer during each section.  It really gets your heart rate up.  Overall, it's a good workout.
