This was my first Tonique DVD, and while I don't do it as often as I used to I still love it. This is floorwork Sylwia-style (ie merciless numbers of reps). The DVD has three sections: side, back, and all fours/plank work. Sylwia is her usual encouraging, warm, and chatty self. While I use her more recent Tonique DVDs most, this is by far my favorite strictly floorwork DVD.

This is my go-to vacation disc. It requires very little space and was the disc that has caused me to buy every Tonique release she has put out since. I wish she would put out a true sequel to this one. It will make you burn, but it does go relatively quickly, because she is so chipper and works right along with you.

3 of 5 Too monotonous for me, but still a fan July 9, 2014

65 min total and one section.  This workout consists of some abs, legs and arms.  I found this workout to be very easy/doable.  I did think it was too mundane of a video and found my mind wandering and I kept looking at the clock.  It was too repetitious for me and I doubt I will be reaching for this video very often.  I do think you will get toning (there is no cardio), but just not my style.  However, it did not deter me from ordering many other Tonique videos!  My HR monitor said 136 cal; avg HR 94, max HR 107.

This is exactly what I've been looking for.  It's high rep, no weight workout all done on the mat.  It was hard at first but I felt stronger week after week - I did this 3x a week.  By week 3 or 4 I was able to do the whole workout (except push up/plank section) with minimal rest.  After a month my skin and muscles are definitely tighter and firmer.  These exercsies stretch and strengthen and also improved my posture.

If my lower body could talk, it would scream "have mercy". Don't let the fact of this being a mat workout without weights fool you, this is a no hold barred workout. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to reshape their lower body.

Non stop attack on the hips, glutes and thighs.  Nice burn for the abs and core region.  Enough reps to make you beg for mercy!  A keeper!  Also, there is a selection on the menu for a warm-up/cool-down segment that I used for my warm-up.  I think it ran about 10 mins long.

This was a total top to bottom total body workout!  As already mentioned, there is no cardio warmup, but Sylwia begins the workout with gentle movements, so I felt I worked my way up to the more stenuous moves.  Her butt work was KILLER! I thought those bridges would NEVER end.  And just when you think you're done, you move to one-legged bridges - OMG!  By the time I got to the ab work, my entire body was sore.  I don't know how Sylwia does it!  All-in-all, this was a VERY effective workout, and I can't wait to do it again!

First off, I love the exercises themselves but almost rated it a 4 because there is no warm up or cool down. But, the workout themselves are a killer! Be careful, cause at times you may not have proper form when the going gets tough and she doesn't demonstrate at all how to do it correctly but heads to one muscle group to the next. My butt adn thighs were killing me after this workout and she does a lot of glute raises without stopping which burned! You may find yourself to take a little breather here and there  but this workout is awesome adn finally a great workout that focuses on our trouble spots effectively! Thank you Sylwia!
