5 of 5 Excellent weight training workout! January 21, 2016
Reviewer: Misha from U.S.A.
This is a classic weight training workout for lifting heavy.  If you don't have 90 minutes to fit it in, know that there are premixes for little over half that time.  Amy did a great job with this one, and I hope she comes out with a sequel.  The only disappointment was the music, but you can always hit mute for that and play your own if it bothers you.

2 of 5 Didn't love it. July 12, 2014

I wanted to love this but just couldn't. I felt the moves were wonky and seemed like an accident waiting to happen. I do love Amy Bento's personality. Cathe's Pyramid workout is much better in my opinion.

4 of 5 Great Strength Workout, with One Flaw July 6, 2014
Reviewer: Bubbles76 from New Jersey
This is a pyramid style strength workout that goes "down the pyramid." starting with your heaviest weight/lowest reps, down to your lowest weight/highest reps.  Hence, drop sets.  I didn't think I would like seeing Amy work out alone, but it was great.  She was calm and professional, providing encouragement when needed.  I also felt that it was good to see her struggling a bit along with me.  Most of the exercises were traditional strength, with small variations making them her own.

The one thing that would have made this workout excellent is to offer better thought out premixes.  Most of the premixes were still quite long, and some even duplicated muscle groups.  So you may be doing chest work twice a week.  That didn't seem well thought out.  Plus, 90 minutes for a strength routine is just too long for some people.  However, you can pick and choose which muscle groups to do from the main menu.

5 of 5 I love this traditional weight work with Pyramids July 6, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Canada
I really love this one for pure weight work it is a bit long but is good every once in awhile to change things up. To lift heavier I love doing that with all the other fitness dvds I do. Amy always easy to follow and great at coaching you. I love that she makes great at home workouts that make you feel as strong as if you where lifting in the gym

3 of 5 Didnt keep it July 5, 2014
Reviewer: Kerryn from Takaka, Golden Bay New Zealand
I really wanted to love this DVD because the whole concept sounded great and I love Amy, but sadly, I was very bored.  The whole thing moves too slowly and there's too much time taken between exercises.  I couldn't give Amy any less than 3 stars and also because this is just my own personal opinion of the workout, others might feel differently.

3 of 5 Not a favorite May 1, 2014
Reviewer: Cam
I wrote a review here that was meant for Body Box, so I deleted it.  I haven't embarked on this one in quite awhile. It is very long and moves a little too slow for my tastes. The leg section is really the only part I do of this. I don't really care for pyramid style of weight work because it is lengthy.  I like to get it done.  This just din't do much for me and I didn't even work up a sweat.
