5 of 5 Will work you July 31, 2014

I love Cathe and this is one that will work you. I love MMA/kickboxing so this is right in my wheel house. I love the focused leg work too I felt it has opened up my hip flexors.

3 of 5 Lacks the fun factor July 21, 2014
Reviewer: RedPanda from Australia
I agree with the reviewer who said this DVD lacks the fun factor. I found the Kick and Punch Combos to be lacking in intensity, so rarely felt energised enough to do the Kickbox/Bootcamp Challenge segment. For this reason, it would have been preferable for Cathe to have spread the high impact conditioning drills throughout the main body of the workout, rather than at the end.

The Leg Conditioning Drills are the best part of this DVD, and effectively condition your lower body for kickboxing.

4 of 5 Easy to follow July 10, 2014
Reviewer: Bells
I am not that much of a kickbox/MMA fan (don't hate it, don't love it), but this workout does keep me engaged and provides a good workout.  The above write-up is very accurate of what is on the video and there is a lot of variety.  Easy to follow with known moves and great cueing.  Good music beat to "match" your punches.  I add light hand weights and ankle weights for the leg drills.

5 of 5 Excellent Kickboxing Workout July 9, 2014
Reviewer: Susan from MO United States
Kick Max is one of the best kickboxing/toning workouts bar none. According to my heart rate monitor, Kick Max is the workout that burns the most calories of any workout I own.  I use 1 lb handgrips during the kick/punch combos. The bootcamp section sends my heart rate soaring (in a good way) and the leg conditioning worked my legs at every angle. The entire workout is about 75 minutes long, but there are at least 4 premixes that are under 60 minutes. Cathe, as always, cues well & is professional & upbeat throughout the workout. I used to find Cathe intimidating (well, I still find her intimidating); not because of her attitude, but because she's so GOOD at everything. I feel like I'm floundering like a fish out of water & she's not even breaking a sweat.  Regardless of Cathe's intimidation factor, Kick Max is most definitely a keeper!

5 of 5 The best cardio workout. November 29, 2008
Reviewer: latorichards from NY
I use this video on days that I want a quick challenging cardio workout.  It is great.  The moves aren't easy.  I really feel the effect of the workout the next day.  This video helps me alot with increasing my lung capacity.  It's worth the buy.

4 of 5 Difficult workout November 18, 2008
Reviewer: A, cathe fan from Minneapolis MN
I love Cathe and usually love her workouts.  I have been a huge fan of her step workouts and really enjoyed Kick,Punch, and Crunch.  This workout was physically difficult but lacked fun.  It is great for teaching you proper kicking techniques, and working your legs but I didn't find it "fun".  My least favorite of my Cathe DVD's.

5 of 5 Excellent Fitness Dvd November 17, 2008
Reviewer: E-NO from Lex, KY
This is NOT a dvd for someone just beginning to exercise.  I have been doing cardio (running, walking, Tae Bo, Step Aerobics, etc.) for over 10 years now.  I have been lifting weights for more than seven years.  This is a welcomed CHALLENGE!!!  Cathe is an excellent instructor emphasising safety and form, motivation and results.  I can't say enough good about this dvd.  Get it, use it, and enjoy every bead of sweat and sore muscle!!!
