5 of 5 High energy & fun! July 15, 2014
Reviewer: from Pittsburgh
I really enjoy this DVD, it's lots of fun. Patrick leads the warm up (which is high impact right from the start, so you may want to do a pre warm up), and then Heather leads the kickboxing portion. (Patrick comes back for the core work at the end.) Heather is a great instructor, motivating and energetic. I really like her, it's hard to believe this is her first DVD. The workout consists of 4 10-minute combos plus an ab section. Heather does move quickly, so I'd recommend some kickboxing experience prior to doing this one. Heather has lots of good form pointers, but I feel like she does expect a basic knowledge of the kicks and punches. Each combo is fun and flies by; I really like the music too. Patrick is amusing in the background. All in all, this DVD is great!

5 of 5 One of my favorite kickboxing workouts!!! July 11, 2014
Reviewer: Debbie S from Southington, CT United States
I absolutely love this workout!!!  Kickboxing is one of my favorite styles of working out, and this dvd made me love it even more. The music is fantastic!  Heather is amazing!  It's broken down into 4 different segments and they are all amazing!  The workouts are super challenging, but easy to follow.  The first time I did it I didn't think i would be able to make it through all of them...and I am happy to say it has gotten a little easier.  You will burn tons of calories and have lots of fun!  If you are thinking of purchasing, I say go for it!!!

3 of 5 Not my cup of tea July 9, 2014
Reviewer: Suzanne from Arlington, VA United States
I have been doing KB workouts since Cathe first put out Cardio Kicks and Ilaria/Patricia released the first PowerStrikes.  I did this workout once and while I like the first two segments, I never finished the third segment. Too many burpees/moves going down to the floor. While I don't mind burpees, I don't enjoy them in a KB workout. Just my taste, I do plenty of them in other workouts, so when I do KB, I just want to focus on KB moves. All that said, this is a good workout, just not my thing. My HR was up there and I found the choreography easy to follow. As I recall, the music was good, too.

5 of 5 Simply Awesome! July 8, 2014
Reviewer: Lorrie Walker from Philadelphia, PA United States
This was my first Patrick G. DVD.  Heather leads the  actual workout while Patrick leads the warm up and abs.  Heather's style of kickboxing was different than what I am used to, but it was great!. There is quite a bit of impact, and she does throw in burpees in two sections.  The music was great and the moves were easy to pick up. The ab section was mostly planks. My core was pretty fatigued after the kickboxing workout, so I really felt the burn.  I tried the ab part by itself, and it did not feel as tough as it was immediately after the kicboxing workout. Also, the workout is chaptered so you can pick a section if you don' t have time to complate the whole workout.

5 of 5 This workouts is FUN July 3, 2014

Kickbox Burn is a fun, engaging and challenging kickboxing workout. Heather Corndorf is an excellent instructor who gives great queues and is very motivating. This is her first video, but I am looking forward to many more from her. Patrick is a background exerciser for the kickbox segment, but he leads the ab work at the end.  This workout will have you huffing and puffing during the blasts, but is paced well so that the intensity builds nicely as you work your way through the combos. It is taught combo by combo, and moves are added every time you go through each one. Each combo ends with a blast, and then you move on to the next segment. This makes time fly.  The ab segment at the end is thorough and has a long plank segment that really works the core. Then you end with a creative cooldown that has a nice flow. This was one of my best workout purchases last year and I reach for this workout on days when I need a little extra motivation to get going. This always works like a charm.

5 of 5 Love Heather and Patrick! June 9, 2014
Reviewer: Margaret from NY United States
First let me say that I love kickboxing!  It can be a little confusing w/ kicks and punches going in every direction and add to that a NEW instructor (for me anyway), Heather.  Well, Patrick knows his stuff and Heather is it!  Patrick takes you through the warm-up then Heather takes over!  She is amazing.  She has great energy, is really upbeat and gave great cueing (for the most part).  There are 4 rounds and she goes through them add on style but not so repetitious that you want to scream.  This workout moves right along w/ ZERO dread.  Before you know it, you're done!  The ab section is lead by Patrick and offers a nice challenge for the core.  If you're feeling energetic you can wear weighted gloves for the main wkout...you WILL feel it the next day.  I loved how Heather worked the core during the rounds too!  Really great workout!!

4 of 5 This is a good short cardio workout April 6, 2014
Reviewer: Cam from Brookfield, WI United States
I have had this for awhile and though I am not big on kickboxing, this one is pretty decent.  I wish it had one more segment though.  It feels a little short for a cardio workout and I tend to like more choreography with my cardio, so I wasn't thrilled with the running and jabbing in place in each segment.  She does move quick so there isn't a boredom factor to the basic choreography.  I only take this out once in awhile so I don't grow bored with it.  I am pretty advanced for cardio, so I did have to add more impact and jumps to it, but other than that, this is pretty good.  It doesn't require a lot of thinking and the music isn't bad.  The ab section is good too.   She tends to shout a little too much, but it's better than listening to Patrick say "oh my gosh" and "guys" constantly.
