5 of 5 Brilliant workout October 20, 2018

The original Get Ripped and Chiseled is one of my go to’s so after getting my mitts on a few of Jari’s newbies (Get Ripped in 6 - Get Ripped 1,000 #3 - Get Ripped & Jacked) I decided to go back in time and grab Extremely Ripped and Chiseled and was in for the most pleasant surprise ! I love this workout, it’s a side to Jari that it not present in any of her other stuff (that I own & this includes her 1,000’s) I’m a huge fan of HiiTs and this ER&C is so much fun, full of variety and the atmosphere is electrifying- the first time I did this workout my triceps were in DOM mode for 1 whole week !! Thankfully now it’s only 1 day .. I can’t say any one workout of Jari’s workouts is my favourite but this one is my serotonin/endorphins go to ...

4 of 5 Good Jari Love July 20, 2014

I like how this dvd is split up into upper body and lower body. This dvd gets the job done. I thought the set would be too dark, it's doable but wish it would have been more modern and bright. Also I don't see much of a modifier.

4 of 5 Nice offering July 11, 2014

This has a lower body/ upper body option, which is handy and seems to hit more of the upper body than she has in most of her recent dvds. My only complaint, other than the crazy set, is that it is difficult to tell who the advanced exerciser and who is the modifier. It seems she has one person who alternates doing both and it is confusing. There are a few high impact moves, but I think those could be modified.

5 of 5 A good thorough weight workout March 31, 2014

I like this one a lot and the leg work actually gets the heart rate up. Some segments are, as usual, a little overkill for me, but when I feel like I've had enough or I start to get bored, I just skip to the next exercise.  I don't like the dark set at all, but she sure does, since most of her videos are dark.  I though the lower body and upper body premixes are set up kind of weird, so I prefer to just skip to the segment I want.  Overall, Jari knows how to work your muscles, a little hard on the back at times, but a good strength challenge.

5 of 5 old school Jari April 11, 2013

The last few Jari Love DVDs have been so intense I have had to split them up and do half one day and half on another day - this workout I was able to do in one long session and I enjoyed it (I do modify the curtsey lunges off the step to spare my poor lower back).  The reps are long but that's always been Jari's style - to go a bit lighter on the weights and up the reps.  4.5 stars.

I have all of Jari's DVDs.  I like this one, but feel her first "Ripped & Chiseled" is better.  I do not like the set ( the disco era is dead!).  However, she has some great new moves on this one, with  high reps.  Plus, not a lot of equipment is needed.  I also like how she has two of her long time "team" instructing certain sets.  It breaks it up.  I do wish she didn't rush from some sets to another. I had to pause my player to get ready for the next.  You cannot go wrong with this one!
