5 of 5 Excellent workout February 27, 2016

This was my first Angie Miller workout and I loved it.  She does excellent queuing and is very motivational.  I loved the weight workout as it had some innovative moves.  The floorwork was also very good and challenging.  I'll be looking for more Angie Miller products.

In spite of its unfortunate title, this video is challenging and fun.  Interesting and unusual exercises with heavy weights.

4 of 5 a little fast IMO May 24, 2015
Reviewer: susanna smith from Stafford, TX United States
I almost rated this 3 star but I think it's  unique enough for 4 stars and I may not be a solid intermediate which is the rating on this one. I've been doing some strength training/toning dvds for a few months - nothing 'religiously' but the past month or so I've tried to do a Margaret Richard or Kelly Coffey-Meyer workout at least 3x a week. I can tell increased strength but still for bicesp 8 lbs is about my limit for repeated moves and 5 lbs for most others and abs are weak. I think I'd do better going to 5's or using a kettlebell for some of the moves just because of the combo of speed, weight, extension/balance. she used 10s and 8s the modifier used 5s for the lights. the dumbbell figure 8s are a bit awkward to do at speed I enjoyed the balance poses somewhat but she adds a lot of twists. I think I'll try this again with 5s for some of the moves that are fast and see how I like it. it was definitely cardio for me for most moves! didn't attempt the booty burner or core floorwork.

5 of 5 Oh yea! November 16, 2014
Reviewer: Monica from Dublin, OH United States
Like another reviewer, I hesitated to purchase this DVD because of its title; I finally broke down when it went on sale.  I am glad I did.  Angie presents three workouts – buff body blast; booty burner; and core.  The first workout, total body strength/toning, flew.  It is well-chaptered by “sets.”   The “sets” can be mixed and matched based on time and preference.   And for those who have difficulty choosing, Angie has creative premixes based on the “sets”.  I found set four, balance, particularly challenging.  Booty burner and core are self-explanatory.  Unlike other trainers, Angie has a thorough warm-up and cool-down at the beginning and end respectively.  (thank you!) The DVD is very good on its own.  But the versatility of the premixes is a wonderful bonus.  The only negatives are Angie's stilted chatter with the backup exercisers ("how you guys doing back there?") and over-abundance of "oh yea."

5 of 5 Great! July 31, 2014
Reviewer: T from Tarpon Springs, FL United States
I guess everyone has different opinions because I thought the moves are creative in this one. Some feel like kettlebell moves. The dvd is very versatile with different chapters and premixes. You can make it harder by upping the weights. Angie cues well. The only things I didn't like was a pipe along the back wall looked like it was strobing and it bugs my senses when I look at the TV, and I didn't click with all her music selections. Otherwise, a great workout.

3 of 5 it was just ok July 6, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Canada
This dvd is just ok just plain old moves and no spice. The instructor is pleasant but not very motivating. It felt boring there are good standard moves but I was looking for a little more. Not my favourite at all sorry to say.

4 of 5 Give this a try July 6, 2014
Reviewer: Kristie from Decatur, GA United States
I purchased this awhile ago when there was a sale.  I don't know why I don't reach for it more often because it's a good, well-organized toning workout.  You can do the 3 workouts that are offered or choose from pre-mixes.  Angie Miller is a great instructor, and I always feel challenged and satisfied when I do these routines. I do wish the title were different.  It gets one's attention, but I passed on it the first few times because I did not like the "Bedroom Body" name.
