Cardio burn is a calorie-burning aerobic workout that firms and tones the entire body. Combining a medicine ball, light weights, plyometric jumps and squats, and exercises on both a short and tall step make your body the hardest it's ever been. Easy to follow choreography makes this workout fun for exercisers of all levels. Adding an optional barbell increases the difficulty and results.

This 48 minute workout features warm up/stretch (3 minutes), 4-limb cardio, short box and low impact aerobics (17 minutes), weights and tall box toning (22 minutes) abdominals/stretch (6 minutes). Wide calf pumps and lunges reshape the legs, abdominal exercises work your torso and waist; while upper body routines tone the arms and back.

While I usually like The Firm workouts, this one did not work out for me.  The instructor Tamela Hastie was very irritating.  She did the exercises with minimal set up and it seemed as if she was trying to get the workout finished as soon as possible.  She also had a habit of screeching "This is so fun"  The elements of the workout were good.  Unfortunately the execution of them was not.

This was a fun workout. There is a combo of short high impact segments that are easy to follow, a low impact section, and step aerobics. Intermixed are toning sections that cover the whole body part-by-part. The time flies by and you get it all done in 45 minutes. I enjoyed it.
