3 of 5 Just ok January 4, 2019

I like the design of this workout. You do 3 sets of 10 exercises. The 1st is 60 sec, 2nd 45 sec., 3rd 30 sec.  You alternate doing cardio and weights. The cardio drills, if you call them that, were not real fun, so I changed them up to make them a little tougher and fun.  My pet peeves with cardio and weights is, when the weight work isn't complete.  She neglects the triceps, so I substituted during the cardio/ab drill (which was boring). She is a little over the top and shouts a lot. It got on my nerves.  Most of the cardio was low impact, very little jumping, but kinda boring.  The music is bad and I so enjoy having music off option so I can stream my own. That would have made the workout better. Overall, it is effective and she keeps you moving, just nothing fresh and different in this one.

5 of 5 Fun workout! February 13, 2015
Reviewer: Laura S. from Rockville, MD United States
This workout is comprised of 3 CIRCUITS, a set of 10 intervals that you do all the way through as a unit. So, you go through those 10 intervals three times. An INTERVAL is a segment that you do for a period of time, so they are measured by time and not number of reps. These intervals are either toning or cardio moves that you do for a period of time. And, she alternates them. So, you do a circuit of alternating strength and cardio intervals for a certain period of time and then repeat.

I like this workout a lot. It flies by for me and I sweat bullets while I enjoy the workout. It is not a workout that I feel like I already have in my workout collection. For me, it's a keeper.

5 of 5 Wowza! August 20, 2013
Reviewer: TracyAZGal from Phoenix, AZ United States
This workout had my heart rate way up there in the first 5 minutes! The moves are basic, but it moves at a brisk pace. I was able to just jump right in and keep up, but barely! It was challenging, but basic enough to follow from the get go. Moves like squats , plié's with weights in between cardio bursts like knee ups, mountain climbers etc. The first circuit was about 20 minutes, the second uses the same basic moves, but tweaked just a bit and is about 12 min, the third circuit is amped up just a bit more and is about 10 min long. It ends with some ribcage isolations side to side and some planks and a stretch. This was a tough cardio workout, but not hard to follow. Jen is a pleasant instructor and really did a nice job with this workout. I was out of breath and sweating in a matter of minutes and it did not stop until the end! It is a definite higher Intermediate routine IMO.
