3 of 5 Cueing should include explaining the moves June 17, 2015
Reviewer: Laura S. from Rockville, MD United States
I do think that it is well done and very professional.  The music is good, great compared to most other workouts.  Cathe's instruction is excellent - you totally understand the strength moves and what you are supposed to be doing.  I really enjoyed the first step sequence, liked the second sequence, and was ready to rip the DVD out of the player and hurl it at the wall on the third sequence.  Cathe's step instruction is what I find lacking in this workout.  She cues just fine, if you define "cueing" as telling you the name of the move.  But, she does not explain the move or build up to the more complex steps.  She just seems to assume that you'll know what to do.  And, if you are long-time Cathe exerciers, you probably will.  If not, you may have some problems figuring out the moves.  And, I don't feel like I should have to practice a simple step sequence to get the steps down.

5 of 5 Great step workout with weight circuits July 31, 2014

Fun music and fun step combos. Gets you sweaty and breathless. I love the use of weights in a circuit setting. The weight parts are great classic lower and upper body moves. You will love the added resistance from the band.

5 of 5 Great Low Impact July 28, 2014
Reviewer: Bells
This is a great low impact workout, however I do it on an 8" step and make it high impact to make it even more challenging.  There are a few sections I did find "slow" and easy, but when I modified to high impact, it was more my style.  I do like there is an ab section, albeit short.  Typical Cathe fun factor, great video quality and music.

5 of 5 Fun! July 15, 2014
Reviewer: Suzanne from Arlington, VA United States
This workout is one of Cathe's best-kept secrets. The step section is so much fun, easy to learn choreography that gets your HR up despite the lack of impact. The music is good, and Cathe is at her best in terms of cuing. This is one I pull out when I don't feel like working out because I know that I will quickly start to enjoy myself.

5 of 5 Wonderful workout that never dates July 13, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Tamworth, United Kingdom
I love this workout. Its my favourite workout. The musics good, the exercises are good and it just generally makes me feel good. I tend to come back to it again and again. The premixes are excellent and you can increase the impact by raising the step if you want to.
Fabulous Cathe workout.

5 of 5 Love this workout! June 19, 2010
Reviewer: Nancy from Canada
I'm a big fan of Cathe after finally trying her workouts last year.  She never disappoints.

I love Low Impact Circuit - it is one of my favourites and one that I find I'm doing a lot.  The moves are interesting and fun and the music is great (80s remixes) as it just motivates you to keep going.

The main circuit workout is a great cardio and strength training workout on its own.  It also comes with several premixes so you end up getting several workout variations depending on what you want to use it for.  The cardio premix (all the step combos and blasts with the bonus ones included) is one of my favourites and it works you hard but you have fun at the same time.

5 of 5 AWESOME CARDIO/TONING DVD!!! December 19, 2008
Reviewer: Vivian from Chicago, Il
This was my first Cathe dvd and it hasn't been my last! Since I discovered her on fit tv, and because of my hectic schedule, I don't have time to workout at the gym and Cathe has been my first home dvd instructor that comes close and better in comparison to the instructors at the gym! I am so grateful and happy that Cathe and her workouts out here for people like me! This dvd is a 49 min. cardio/toning workout which includes a little cardio step, followed by either an upper body workout using 5lbs. or a little highter, to a barbel and a band, to a lower body leg workout, then following the same pattern, till you complete the entire cycle. But, don't think that you won't get a little cardio in your toning because she does incorporate it in this entire workout! This is a fun, fast workout with great music that keeps you wanting more! You will sweat and burn fat and calories! Time does fly in this dvd!! By the time you know it, you have completed the entire workout! She does include an ab section and it is a good one! I just love Cathe picks in music in all her workouts, but this one I started out with was a little easier to begin with, but not that easy if you are a beginner. You have to work up to Cathe's dvds because they are for an intermediate and advanced people. She has a few beginner -intermediate dvds which I want to buy when I want something effective but not too choreographed on days that I just want a good workout to follow. Buy this one! It's worth the money!!! You'll come back wanting more of Cathe's workouts!!!
