I really like this dvd. Weights and Body Shop have become my favorite weight workouts.  I do both together and the compound workout increases the heart rate. The music is boring, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I like Kelly's demeanor and she never gets annoying to listen too.  I get tired of instructors who repeat the same words or phrases over and over again, but Kelly doesn't.  Great premixes as usual.

4 of 5 Solid strength workouts March 4, 2015
Reviewer: Laura S. from Rockville, MD United States
This DVD has two 30-minute full body strength workouts. Upper body muscle groups are superset with lower body exercises and then followed up with a compound move to further challenge the muscles being worked. In each of the two workouts she approaches the major muscle groups in different ways and you can do them individuall or use the premix that combines them into one workout to hit everything.

For these workouts Kelly tells you to have a set of heavy and a set of light dumbbells. You may want a wider variety than just two sets of dumbbells. You may have a conflict with some of the compound exercises because you can go much heavier on one of the exercises than the other.

The premixes let you customize this workout. I would classify the two workouts as intermediate to high intermediate/low advanced which you can make more difficult by increasing the weight of your dumbbells or doing a more intense premix.

5 of 5 KCM's TMTF Body Shop February 7, 2015

Excellent workout! Kelly works every muscle in the body in unique ways in this routine. The flows, cuing, and form pointers are superb. I usually do this workout in its entirety, but you can still get a great workout if you only have 30 minutes on a particular day. I love this DVD and will use it frequently. Thanks, Kelly!

5 of 5 Superb toning workout July 26, 2014

One of my favorite KCM workouts.  Kelly never disappoints.  I like the supersets mixed with compound exercises because I feel thoroughly worked. No dread factor here. You may need three sets of dumbbells the first couple of times through to see what works for you. I'm intermediate and going heavier in Body Shop was good for me.

4 of 5 Creative Workout July 6, 2014

Kelly has put together a fun and creative workout. The moves are functional and multi-limbed, so while it's a lot of toning, you'll get your heart rate up too. To me, it has a similar feel to Tracie Long's style.

The only thing I didn't like about it was she repeats some of the moves several times. It felt a bit repetitious but it also irritated my lower back. As I recall, the music seemed a bit repetitious too.

If you want longer sets and like functional moves, then you might find this perfect.

5 of 5 OUTSTANDING May 26, 2013
Reviewer: Susan W. from Plano, TX
The pace of these workouts make them excellent for both beginners and intermediates if they use lighter weights, but the movements are controlled enough that int/adv folk like me can simply heavy up - I felt thoroughly worked over after doing the both-workouts-together premix!  You really cannot be disappointed with this DVD!
