I got a heavy bag for Christmas and love it. I have 3 Cathe workouts that use the heavy bag and this one is a wonderful addition. The shadow boxing part was a little too fast for me but just have to learn it. I loved the heavy bag portion. She is a very good instructor.

Really a great over all burn using kicks/punches you will be feeling the burn the next day. I use weighted gloves to give extra burn. What really makes this one for me is the use of Med ball to get the core shaped up. Really ups the interest in doing core/ab work.

I have all 4 of Susan Chung's dvd, and I like tis one the best. You  get a lot of cardio and core work in this one.  The first segment is an easy to follow boxing with hand weights. The second one is kickboxing.  I confused on some of the footwork, and there was a section where I though the cueing could have been better, but I like it nonetheless. Next is a heavy bag workout. I don't have a bag, and you don't really need one for it.  Then, my favorite is the standing ab section. Fun, fun, fun!!! It didn't feel like a workout.  Lastly, there is the floor ab section.  The part where you lie on your back and raise your upper body off the ground was hard!   I really enjoyed this one.

Disclosure:  I have done only the Shadow Box and core sections on this workout. Those, alone, are worth the purchase of this DVD. Susan's cuing in the SB section is flawless, and if you use weights/weighted gloves, you will get an excellent cardio/strength workout in a relatively short period of time.  It's fun, too. The core sections (standing and floor) are killer. The standing one has a definite cardio factor to it.

I thought the warm up portion of this workout was very good.   The shadow boxing was my favorite part of the workout, I wore one pound weighted gloves,  very easy to follow and great cueing.  I really liked the kickboxing portion as well, I got lost a few times on some of the kicks but that will come easy the next time I do the workout.  I really loved the crescent kicks with the curtsy crossover.  I got a great sweat going on during this portion.  I did not do the heavy bag portion of this as I don't have one.  I would have liked to see a modifier doing it without the bag for this portion. I really enjoyed the medicine ball portion of this, both the standing and the floor portions.  I used a four pound ball for this. The stretch at the end was awesome and felt so good. I would rate this workout as high intermediate/advanced.  I really love kickboxing workouts and this is my new favorite.  It is an awesome workout and I totally recommend it.  This has some awesome premixes as well.
