Strengthen and tone your entire body using athletic, graceful movements with special attention on challenging your arms, abs, thighs and butt. Get consistent, easy to follow cues which make a huge difference in your results. After warming up, start with an intense standing butt and leg toning section using ballet inspired exercises done with a chair. No dance training, ballet barre or weights are necessary! On the floor, use you own body's weight and a small inflatable ball to shape and define your muscles. Your butt will feel smaller and your abs will feel tighter and your arms will get stronger the very first time you do this workout. The routine is 45 minutes long and is broken down into 6 sections and is shot it outside in Montana "I enjoyed every minute of designing this workout for you and I got in the best shape of my life rehearsing it." Tools you need: ballet or soft slippers, a sturdy chair with no arms and a small 7 " inflatable ball.

This is a very well executed and instructed barre workout.  It is 40 minutes in length and I actually appreciated that.  In those minutes, Karen delivers her usual comprehensive and precise exercises.  I really felt the muscles after the workout.  The scenery is  in a beautiful field in Montana.  The music is good and I felt that energized .

I enjoy this workout because I work only until my body is getting tired...never over stressing it.  Voight is very easily understood and moves at a nice pace.

This is a nice intermediate level workout where you aren't repped to death. She does just enough to feel it then you move to the next exercise. This is total body but I wish there was a bit more for the upper body. As is usual with Karen, she pays attention to detail with excellent cueing. Sometimes I couldn't tell exactly how to hold my leg in the standing portion but it must have been right because I got nice muscle soreness the next day! The ab section is great and difficult. Don't think the ball will make it easier because it's not! But the ball added a nice support for the low back. The production values are really good - love the outdoor setting!

This is a solid barre workout. There's nothing wildly innovative, but she gives a good balance to the lower body work (without overworking your quads, as a lot of barre workouts seem to). The ab work is some of the better I've seen in barre workouts - hard (trust me, hard!), with a realistic range of movement so that you just don't overuse your hip flexors (again something I see in a lot of barre workouts).

There isn't much upper body work - a few minutes of planks and push ups - so I combine with upper body weighted work from a Ballet Body download (since the workout only runs to 40 minutes, I've got the time left to do that).

For those who think they have to keep looking for more and more "advanced" barre workouts, this won't work for them at all. But Karen is calm and keeps you in good form, and if you're using correct technique, you'll still feel it.
