Welcome to the Dynamic Flow Series, a series of 4 workouts that will strengthen and lengthen your entire body. You will use your own body weight with fluid, dance like movements in unique combinations to keep your mind and body engaged. These workouts are gentle, but effective. They are low impact and joint friendly, but will definitely still leave you feeling thoroughly workout out.

THE WORKOUTS ARE:

Active (28 mins): this is a high energy workout with a lot of dance like combinations to challenge your balance and lengthen your muscles. You will see a wide plie series, a curtsy lunge to down dog glute raise combination, some fun cardio intervals to loosen up the muscles and a side lunge to sweeping side leg raise series.

Lengthen (30 mins): start with a dynamic warm up then move into long lever leg raises, a warrior 3 to curtsy lunge combination, down dog to plank knee pulls, a side plank hip dip combination and a shin and foot stretch routine. You will finish with some static stretches to lengthen all the muscles you worked.

Functional (33 mins): you will start with a dynamic warm up, then move into some up and down lunge and glute raise combinations, there’s leg circle lunges with leg raise jumps and finally a tough down dog to up dog series with leg lifts and hip dips. This workout has a great cardio factor.

Sculpt (25 mins): you perform exercises such as rag doll swings, arm circles with toe taps, side lunges and hip circles, rib cage shifts and a challenging warrior to lunge combo. You will finish with hip circles and some deeper, more static stretches in a standing and lying position.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Get ready to sweat, puff and burn - hopefully you'll love every minute of it!
