Good workout, but not Cathe's best August 4, 2014

This is a good, solid workout & if it was by another instructor, I'd probably give it 5 stars, but I hold Cathe to a higher standard. Cathe uses a variety of weights, a firewalker band, a regular exercise band & a mat. As far as the weights, I used 10, 8, 5 & 3 lbs. Cathe uses a single 25 lb weight at one point, but I don't have that heavy of a weight. The workout is around 56 minutes. It is mainly a toning video and even though I don't mind a lower heart rate during weight lifting as compared to cardio, my heart rate didn't go up as much as I liked. According to my heart rate monitor, I burned 175 calories. This was a good workout, but I don't see me reaching for this one as much as other Cathe videos.

I love the variety in this one it will leave you sweaty. It will boost your metabolic  rate for sure. I love that you can do a premix with no equipment but weights if your tight on time. She gives great motivation and form points as always because she is fantastic.

Good Full Body workout July 10, 2014

This isn't quite as hard as other Cathe MWT workouts, but still hits almost every muscle.  I do use a bit heavier weights and tighter bands to get more of a burn.  I do find the pace a bit slower (my mind wanders) than her other workouts, but not enough to make me not like or use this video.  I don't reach for this one as much, but it may be because Cathe has so many other great workouts.

Fun, Happy, and Tough July 9, 2014

FT is not easy, so be prepared. All the segments (except for the chest which is drop set pushups on the mat & burpee/pushups w/disks) are tough. I especially felt the shoulder segment, non-stop, I surrender type of burn. Don't be fooled & go heavy because I used 8s like Cathe & was dreading it. The back segment, particularly the part where you use the band, is great. Rows & band Ts. The tricep segment was my least favorite, mostly because I don't like the kickbacks in a plank position (I have to modify to table top). The core segment is great. Enjoyed the variety here--you'll feel it. Nothing special about the stretch, but it's pretty comprehensive. Music was fun and happy.

This is a solid total body workout. It's not as advanced as some of Cathe's other workouts, but it provided a nice challenge for me. I liked the fact that you only need minimal equipment!
