5 of 5 A fav! July 14, 2014
Reviewer: Lorrie Walker from Philadelphia, PA United States
This one ws my favorite of the 3 Breathless Body Workouts. The 40 seconds on and 20 off kept my heartrate up, and I felt like she spent less time introducing the segments that she did in her previous ones. I did find some moves with the burpees a little awkward but  doable, The ab work a the end was just OK. I didn't buy this one for the ab work so I'm still giving it 5 stars.

4 of 5 Another good tabata workout from Amy July 13, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from PA
Like the previous reviewers, I like that Amy gives you 3 level options for each move, so that you can easily modify the intensity of this workout up or down. Some of the more compound moves don't feel right to me (I feel like I'm at risk for injury with them), so I like that I have a few options. Overall I prefer my HIIT workouts to have uncomplicated moves so I can really move quickly and get my heart rate up.

Like the original Breathless Body, I think there is too much explanation between moves after the first time you've done the DVD and already know what to do - I'd like a premix that cuts down on the instruction.

Amy also drives me a little crazy with her overabundance of encouragement. I feel like she really overdoes the motivation and it just irritates me. However, I do like this one and like to use it on days when I want to push hard.

5 of 5 Nice Workout July 9, 2014
Reviewer: Suzanne from Arlington, VA United States
Agree w/the other reviewer, this is more Tabata than HIIT. That said, it's a great workout to get up your heart rate. I enjoyed Amy's second iteration (BB2) more than this one in terms of the moves she used. Regardless, I still pull this one out on a regular basis and have it as an option on my intense cardio days. Love that she has three levels from which you can choose, depending on how you feel. Also I like Amy's teaching style---she's encouraging w/out being over the top. I don't like Amy's warm ups, so I simply do another warm up prior to popping this one in the DVD player.

3 of 5 Good Tabata-Style Workout July 3, 2014
Reviewer: Lynn from Anderson, IN United States
This really isn’t HIIT, it's more Tabata-style.  Amy starts with a warm up and then moves into the rounds.  There are eight rounds, each round is four minutes long broken down into 40 seconds of work with 20 seconds of rest.  This is repeated four times before moving on to the next round.  Some may find this too repetitive.

She has two background exercisers.  One does all low impact and one that does very high impact.  There is also a screen timer.  Toward the end you do all eight exercises straight through, then it is finished off with an ab section and cool down.

What I didn’t like: Some of the moves are awkward and just didn’t seem to flow very well.  Also, Amy stops and walks around, which I dislike.   It is also not chaptered at all.  The choices are workout with intro or workout.  It should have been chaptered it or at least have an express workout.  I would have given this workout four stars but for this and the walking around.

5 of 5 100% high energy and great modifications for impac July 2, 2014
Reviewer: Michelle from Canada
I love anything by Amy she is fun and motivating. I love that you can grow into this workout that she gives you 3 different levels or on days when you just don't have as much energy you can do the least impact version. Time flies by as your heart rate soars. I love it and it is one that everyone should have in their collection. I like the set and I like the variety of moves.
