Kurt Johnsen has over 10 years training in martial arts and yoga and is an expert (5th degree Black Belt) Tibetan Kung Fu. He also trained in Lama Yoga, Needle in the Cotton (Tibetan Tai Chi), Chi Gong, and many forms of meditation, acupuncture, herbology, Brazilian Ju Jitsu and Tai Chi Chuan. At the Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas, TX, he received his personal trainer certification. He studied Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism and many forms of Christianity. In 1999, Kurt developed and taught "A State of Mind" Power Yoga. He has well over 1,000 teaching hours.
