5 of 5 Great introduction to Pilates April 24, 2012

If you are a new to Pilates, this DVD will be great. If you are a beginner to exercise in general, this DVD may be tough for you especially if you are overweight. My advice, get a Leslie Sansone walk DVD and lose some pounds before starting Pilates. Right now I am doing kettlebells 3 days a week. I use this DVD or the 10MS yoga DVD on the other days. 3 segments make for a good 30 minute workout, with the stretch segment always as the last one. I have 3 other 10MS DVDs  (1 yoga, 2 Pilates) by Lara Hudson. I wish I had had this one to start with as her other Pilates DVDs were challenging for me. But after doing this one for a while, I will try to tackle them again. I am 52 years old and have been working out for years.

I hired this to check it out first, i think it would be too hard for most beginners . I didn't even try it i just watched . I think its for the flexible among us..... I only gave it 3 stars because i don't think its "beginners"...
