4 of 5 Good workout May 6, 2016

I was expecting a dread factor, but for me there really wasn't. I think it's because you don't repeat any circuits.  The only thing I really don't like in intense workouts, is the up and down. Get your heart rate up and go down to the floor for abs. I not only lose my heart rate, but I get a little light headed. That's my one gripe about this workout. I wish he would have a premix without the abs or abs separate. Next time I do this I will skip the abs. I think it will be a better workout for me. Otherwise this is a great circuit workout and I like him and this dvd better than Max 30, which I just couldn't get into.

5 of 5 great workout!! November 2, 2014
Reviewer: ML from NY United States
This is a very well planned workout for those who want a challenge, and want it all!  The review from Tennessee gal is  accurate.  Hiit style 40/20 format for 3 moves = 3 minutes.  Then compound weights.  An example is back lung holding medium weights, after 30 secs you add a bicep curl, after another 30 secs you add triceps, (keeping the lunge and bicep curl), then another 30 secs you add something else...and so on.  By the time you're done with that 2 minutes, your moves have numerous components to it and your heart rate is up and you just keep sweating...like Toby!  Then on to abs where he continues the format of changing the move a little after 30 secs.  That is 1 block and there are 8.  The time flies because you keep changing what you're doing.  The moves are athletic and uncomplicated, like power scissors, straddle taps.  I also like how if I'm moving slower than Toby....I won't get lost because its all timed....not choreographed!  Really  excellent workout that was fun.

5 of 5 Love this workout July 8, 2014
Reviewer: Tennessee gal from Tennessee, United States
This is a great workout. I do it about 2 or 3 times a week. It is an hour long but you get good weight lifting, cardio and abs in it. Toby does tell you when your at the halfway point,if you just wanna do about 30 minutes. There is 8 blocks. In each block you do 3 different cardio moves, each cardio move is for 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest, then you move on to weight lifting for 2 minutes then abs for 1 minute. The cardio is like tabata, you do 40 seconds on with 20 second rest. And the weight lifting is 2 minutes doing different moves during the 2 minutes. Then you have 1 minute abs doing about 2 different moves in it. I love it. You do cardio then weight lifting then abs. There is no chapters no premixes, just, Introduction, workout and Music on/off that's it.  You need hand weights and a high step and a mat.
