Works well with slanted risers	July 30, 2014

When I bought some slanted risers to use with my club step, I snagged all the DVDs I could find designed to be used with the "Firm Box" and the "TransFIRMer". I was never a "Firm Believer" back in the day, but I have enjoyed the retro feel of these workouts for something different.

"The Firm Transfirmer: Supercharged Sculpting" is a varied and fun strength training routine you can combine with another workout — and as another reviewer has noted, it's not as easy as you may think.

This was one of the first Firm workouts I purchased and I liked it a lot. There is a cardio element to it and it did get my heart rate up for most of the workout; but it probably would be considered by most to be more toning. It's mostly lower impact, but it's not easy. There is a modifier and a set of light medium and heavy weights are used. Of the three workouts that came with the Transfirmer I liked this one the best. It provided a good solid workout and did produce the promised results in 10 workouts.
