I like it because the three levels are interchangeable. You don’t have to stick with the beginner all the time, I tend to add some advanced moves too because I can. I also like the way it eliminates the “get up - lay down - get up again” that other videos have. The whole workout is about 45 minutes and it goes by so fast.

I like the standing pilates but her other workouts are much better. It was a descent workout but I do recommend her own produced dvds everything in them is better.

I recently discovered Ellen Barrett and really enjoy this workout.   Throughout the workout - 3 different levels are demonstrated, allowing your to customize your workout based upon your fitness level and where you're at that day.  This would be good for all levels.

I love Pilates as taught by ellen Barrett! I love her style and this short workout flies by and you will feel the moves if you concentrate and you can "up level" if you wish. There are three levels of difficulty shown at the same time with this one. Great workout for the whole body when time-crunched.

I enjoy all Ellen workouts and this one is no exception. The moves are deliberate and focused.  There is no need to stick w the same level for all moves, try out the variations. The standing moves are easy to follow and there are balance challenges which I liked. The side lying series feels comfortable and you can isolate often underused muscles, I felt the targeted areas working. The matwork had varying levels and so it could be accomplished even by someone with weaker core strength like myself.
I wish the dvd were longer!! I found completing the dvd ( while doing the side series twice) provided an effective workout. Today I can definitely feel that my obliques were worked. My Upper body also knows something has happened!
Music is well suited and unobtrusive, cueing is concise and the set is bright.
I suggest this dvd to anyone wanting a "doable" challenge. Put in the effort, exagerate the moves and you will feel it.
