This is a good interval workout that increases cardio endurance and torches calories. There is a modifier for anyone that wants less impact, and I'm sure that still offers a great workout. The workout offers blocks of layered combos that end with a blast that really gets tofu heart rate up. Then you ease into another block and steadily increase intensity until you end with a blast. Each block is unique which keeps the workout from being repetitive. Definitely and advanced workout when you're not modifying. Time flies relatively quickly.

I really enjoyed this dvd. It's kind of  kicboxing & HIIT fusion workout. I'm not a big fan of HIIT, mainly because I'm lazy, but this video challenged me & actually made HIIT fun. I also liked the counter on the screen as it helped me to squeeze out every last calorie as the workout was winding down. My heart rate monitor stated I expended over 400 calories.  I didn't use my 1 lb hand grips with this dvd as there are a few burpee/plank exercises on the floor & it would have been awkward to keep putting the grips on & off during those sections. Weighted gloves might work instead. My only wish is that workout would have included more kicks, because I love kickboxing, but that's just a personal preference. In this dvd, Michelle reminds me of Chalene Johnson from Turbo Jam but much more subdued. Overall, I really enjoyed this workout. It definitely has a niche in my cardio rotation.

This is high impact and will have your heart rate in your ears. It is so fun with Michelle leading you with her endless enthusiasm. She has also picked a real looking cast that also show their excitement for the work being done. I have to modify because for me it can be bit too much impact but glad it gives me something to strive for.

Another Peak 10 that will be in constant rotation.  This one, compared to the more recent Cardio Interval Burn Remix, has more kickboxing moves. The first two blocks are not as intense as the last three, but I still consider the video advanced.  As usual with other Peak 10 workouts the impact is high and the choreography is complex, but I had no problem getting the choreography of this one from the first try.  I have a soft spot for Cardio Interval Burn Remix and would pick that one instead of this video, but this one is tons of fun as well and a great alternative to add variety.
