GET ALL 4 HULA BARRE FUSION SERIES WORKOUTS

Welcome to the Ori Active Hula Barre Fusion Series. Inspired by the Polynesian flare of Ori Active wear this series will add some hula flavor to more traditional Pilates and barre style exercises. The workouts are designed to lengthen and define your body in a joint friendly, low impact way that is suitable for all ages and exercise levels.

THE WORKOUTS ARE:

Cardio Sculpt Lower (39 mins): You will start with dynamic hula combinations that include hip circles, side steps and forward and back movements, then add in a tough wide plie series and finish on the mat with clams, side leg raises and a lying inner thigh series.

Standing Lower & Abs (36 mins): You will start with hip rotations and tucks, add in some leg raises, back and side lunges and plie squat variations and finish with standing abs to whittle the waistline.

Cardio Sculpt Abs (42 mins): You will start with standing hip rotations and tucks, add in some knee front raises and oblique leg sweeps, then move to the mat for lower belly exercises that incorporate flowing wave like motions, some oblique twists and finish with back extensions.

Arms and Thighs (44 mins): You will see some interesting thigh dancing and pretzel combinations with arm sweeps to help warm up the upper body, then you will move to a seated light weights arm series with lots of hula style arm movements flowing like the waves on the sea!

I have so many workout DVDs-many are from this Trainer Linda and this is one of the best DVDs I have ever purchased-loved every detail-from the colorful workout outfit and background,to the Island Vacation vibe feel,to the flowing arm excercises-cannot day enough positive things about this workout or this Trainer!!Linda is so creative at putting together unique workouts that are challenging with zero dread factor.Her Barlates DVDs get better and better and she has the sweetest personality and adorable accent-she’s my favorite Trainer ever!!!

I've had this a while and enjoyed the workouts I'd tried, but had to post a review now that I've finally done the Arms & Thighs workout. This is different and fun, and really hard!
This is not a dancy DVD - the vibe is more barre, but there are hip circles and especially floaty/waving arm movements that are reminiscent of hula. The Arms & Thighs workout uses very light weights (Linda uses 500g - I tried 2 lbs and backed down quickly to 1 lb) with the waving movements and it's killer!
Linda herself seems like a lovely person; she's very "real" yet professional and of course fit and beautiful.
