Ride is the ultimate zero-impact, fat-burning indoor cycle workout. It consists of eleven motivating songs that each take you through a specific riding profile. You'll start with a warm up, and then depending on the song, you'll stand, sit and hover your way through various hills, flats, jumps and sprints. You'll conclude the workou twith a relaxing recovery ride before you begin your stretch. Ride burns an unbelievable amount of calories while additionally conditioning your core and lower body. Be sure to have water and a towel handy for this workout. You will need it! I want to remind you to review your bikes owners manual to make sure you know how to adjust your bike so that your ride is more comfortable.

I'll of course be giving form pointers along the way, but its still important that you understand the basic safety rules for your specific bike before attempting this workout.

This workout is tough. The pluses--it goes quickly, there are timers for each section, the sections are challenging, and the music is fine. This is my least favorite of Cathe's spin releases because the jump and hover segments seem to go on and on. I still like the workout very, very much!

Cathe makes riding your bike so much fun with her great personality and music. There is many styles to keep the riding fun and give you a big sweaty cardio blast. I love this one great to get you using your bike in.

I have never done spinning before Cathe came out with her videos.  I love it - excellent leg and cardio workout.  I usually do the Extreme Premix.  Good music - each song is a specific type of ride (i.e. standing, sitting, hovering, light resistance, hard resistance, etc.)  No boredom for me.  Has an on-screen count down timer of each song/segment which I really appreciate psychologically.  Lots of crew in the background I watch for form pointers.
