I have slight scoliosis in my lower spine - just enough to make the muscles, tendons and ligaments around my right hip tighten during exercise.
I do a lot of foam rolling and stretching, but until I tried the "Hips" segments of this DVD, something was missing. Whenever I hiked uphill, particularly over uneven ground, my right hip would tighten up painfully like an overwound watch.
After I did the routines for the first time, I noticed a difference in how my hips felt just walking around. I now do these two sessions after each hike - they only take a total of 15 minutes but they have made a world of difference for me.
