The upper body workout works chest, biceps, back and triceps. The lower body workout works shoulders, legs/glutes and abs. Both are about 25 minutes and each includes a short warm up and a short cool down. You will need a yoga mat and several pairs of dumbbells. I use these workouts in the morning during the week when I only have about 30 minutes to spare. The pyramid consists of 2 exercises for 2 different body parts with reps starting at 1 and going up to 10. For example, you do bench press and bicep curls. One rep of each exercise, then 2 reps of each exercise and so on, up to 10. There is an aerobic effect. Although Jackie says to raise your weights, I would not go above 8 pounds because you are moving so fast. I am knocking one star off because I think the pace is too fast. But even if you skip a rep or 2, you will still get a great workout.
