Versatile cardio workout January 17, 2012

I am 52 years old. I love working out with weights and doing yoga but aerobics not so much. Leslie Sansone’s workout videos are the solution for me. There are no fancy moves and you get a good workout. This DVD is great. I would recommend it to fans of Leslie at the “intermediate” level. There are five 12 minute walk segments and a 6 minute cool down. Each mile segment ends with 2 minutes of boosted walking (jogging). I usually do 2 mile segments and the cool down for a good 30 minute workout in the morning before breakfast – on the days I’m not doing weights or yoga.

The “5 Day Slim Down” DVD is similar with longer mile segments that focus on particular body areas. For a beginner, I would recommend the “5 Day Fit Workout” DVD, then move on to the “5 Day Slim Down”, then go on to “5 Mile Fat Burning Walk”.

Excellent workout,motivating and fun January 8, 2009

I had become bored with other cardio. I am not the most coordinated and I do not appreciate complex choreography. Being the vidiot that I am over the years I had aquired many "popular" cardio works that were so tough that I became overwhelmed instead of inspired. Some people, no matter what their fitness level are just not going to enjoy advanced step or dancy hi lo. Leslie is encouraging, I like that she thanks me for walking with her, she is motivating and the moves just feel natural, you can easily modify those boosted walks, you can hold weights and you can hop, it's so versatile. Leslie and this workout renewed my love of Cardio-it's that simple.
