This workout is a unique blend of two great workouts! Not the usual step or kick-boxing formats, they are combined to bring you the energy of step, the control of kick-boxing and the benefits of both!
This combination of step and kick-boxing allows and warrants a faster than usual step pace to successfully join the two formats. To add to this already effective workout, Step-Boxing incorporates weights to sculpt your chest, back, shoulders and arms while maintaining your cardio challenge. Your workout ends with a thorough abdominal segment followed by light stretching.
Kelly Coffey-Meyer has been teaching since 1983. She's designed and implemented group fitness programs in the largest clubs in Philadelphia and New Jersey. She was the first person to bring AFAA to Philadelphia in 1988 and has earned her programs "Best of Philly" awards. Kelly earned a field hockey scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications at Rider University.
