A great total body workout! January 23, 2010

I love this dance/pilates inspired workout from Denise! It reminds me of Effinger's/Anderson workouts but with a more slow and controlled movements, but with the same idea in mind. These 3 short segments with first doing a upper body workout using a handweight from 3-5lbs. only, doing a ballet inspired workout then moving to the lower body segment, which she has you first use a chair and these moves work your lower body so well, that I felt it the next day! Again, a ballet inspired routine. In the abs segment, she does various pilates ab routines and incorporates a handweight to work your obliques and other crunches. Its a great, quick and efficient workout and once again, Denise is ahead of the game, as usual!
